Bárbara Bandeira, Bispo, Blaya, Carolina Deslandes e Diogo Piçarra (estes últimos dois na imagem em cima) são os cinco nomeados para o Best Portuguese Act, a categoria nacional dos MTV European Music Awards.
Nenhum dos nomeados ganhou alguma vez este prémio e só Carolina Deslandes é repetente nesta andanças, depois de uma candidatura em 2015. Recorde-se que DJ Overule tinha sido o vencedor do MTV EMA de Best Portuguese Act do ano passado.
Camilla Cabello é a artista com mais nomeações para os MTV EMAs, seis ao todo, incluindo nas categorias de Melhor Artista, Melhor Canção e Melhor Vídeo (ambos pelo êxito Havana).
A cerimónia dos MTV EMAs vai decorrer em Bilbau, Espanha, a 4 de novembro.
